Lyon Jemison Attorney at Law, PC
Lyon Jemison attended the St. John's College in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Annapolis, Md. He graduated with a BA, majoring in Philosophy and minoring in Mathematics. He then put a backpack on and worked and travelled around the world for two years, visiting Europe, Africa, India, Nepal, Asia, Australia, and more. He developed a world perspective and learned to embrace people from every geographic location. Those influences heightened his passion to practice and excel at immigration law. A fellow attorney, and former co-worker, A.J. Balbo, describes Mr. Jemison as a "Man of the People".
After traveling the globe, Mr. Jemison attended law school at Whittier College School of Law, located in Southern California.
Since becoming an immigration and criminal lawyer, Mr. Jemison has helped hundreds obtain legal status, avoid deportation, clean up problematic past criminal issues, and acquire U.S. Citizenship. He has published advisory columns in the well-known Hispanic newspaper, La Voz Latina, and he has lectured before diverse ethnic communities on immigration, criminal, personal injury and contract issues. Mr. Jemison spent two years working as the Public Defender for the Garden City Municipal Court, and is currently the Assistant Solicitor for Garden City, Georgia. He currently has several newsworthy criminal cases in the Georgia courts.
From child abduction cases to vehicular homicide, auto accidents to child support, Mr. Jemison has broad experience helping clients from all over the world navigate a spectrum of serious legal situations.
